Responsibilities
- Own and refine the team backlog and write actionable user stories with clear acceptance criteria.
- Partner with Product Management to break down features and align delivery with PI objectives.
- Provide daily clarification, make scope decisions, and validate completed work.
- Integrate security, performance, and compliance requirements into team stories.
- Participate in PI Planning, System Demos, Inspect & Adapt, and continuous improvement activities.
- Use flow metrics and team performance data to improve predictability and value delivery.
- Deploy, configure, and support CI/CD pipelines and continuous integration for real-time testing and diagnostics in virtualized environments.
- Develop and support Fire Support C2 software in Ada and Java.
Requirements
- Typically requires a STEM degree and at least 5 years of relevant experience, or an advanced degree in a related field and at least 3 years of experience.
- At least 5 years in software, product, or technology roles and preferably 3 or more years as an Agile Product Owner.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines, software development and management tools, automation frameworks, scripting, and virtual environments.
- Experience with GitLab, Jira, Confluence, Coverity, Nexus, Artifactory, Splunk, Ansible, Terraform, Puppet, VMware, Proxmox, Python, Bash, and PowerShell.
- Experience with continuous integration for real-time testing and diagnostics within a virtualized environment.
- Experience integrating applications with IaaS/PaaS platforms such as Red Hat OpenShift, VMware, or OpenStack.
- Experience refactoring legacy systems for cloud or virtual environments.
- Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum practices, backlog management, communication, and technical delivery.
- SAFe POPM certification is preferred.
- An active and transferable U.S. government-issued Secret clearance is required before the start date, and sole U.S. citizenship is required.
