Responsibilities
- Design and implement secure CI/CD pipelines for automated software build, testing, and deployment across multiple enclaves.
- Optimize build and test processes and integrate security controls into the software development lifecycle.
- Identify development and deployment process deficiencies and architect durable solutions.
- Build Infrastructure-as-Code frameworks to provision and configure development, test, and production environments.
- Automate STIG scanning, vulnerability assessment, configuration validation, and compliance reporting.
- Develop hardened Docker and Kubernetes containerization and orchestration solutions for classified networks.
- Create monitoring and logging infrastructure supporting security operations, troubleshooting, and incident response.
- Partner with system administrators and ISSM/ISSO personnel to meet customer security requirements.
Requirements
- At least five years of experience and a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Hands-on experience with GitLab CI, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or similar CI/CD tools.
- Proficiency with programming or scripting languages such as Python and Bash.
- Understanding of software engineering fundamentals including design patterns, testing, version control, and debugging.
- Familiarity with Terraform, Ansible, Puppet, Chef, or similar Infrastructure-as-Code tools.
- Working knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, or Docker Swarm.
- Understanding of Linux system administration, networking, and scripting.
- Ability to maintain an active U.S. Secret security clearance.
- Preferred experience includes classified DoD or Intelligence Community environments, ATO processes, STIG implementation, continuous monitoring, SCAP-compliant tools, secure software supply chains, artifact signing, SBOMs, zero-trust architectures, Kubernetes microsegmentation, GitOps, observability, PKI, secrets management, and air-gapped deployments.
- Relevant certifications such as Security+, CISSP, or AWS/Azure security certifications are preferred.
