Responsibilities
- Architect and own the agentic resolution platform from intake and classification through action execution, verification, and human fallback.
- Build agent runtimes and orchestration capabilities for state, memory, tool integration, multi-agent coordination, and confidence-based handoffs.
- Design production LLM patterns including prompt engineering, retrieval-augmented generation, structured outputs, multi-model routing, and hybrid retrieval.
- Establish knowledge-base, evaluation, quality-scoring, drift-detection, guardrail, and feedback-loop strategies for non-deterministic systems.
- Architect and operate Kubernetes-based container and serverless workloads, and build production platform services and internal tooling in Python or Go.
- Define Terraform infrastructure integrated with a major cloud AI stack, including secrets management and audit-ready controls.
- Build CI/CD pipelines with model and agent versioning, canary or blue-green deployment, evaluation gates, and rollback capabilities.
- Own Prometheus, Grafana, OpenTelemetry, and enterprise observability integrations for platform, agent, and model-inference telemetry.
- Establish SLOs, SLIs, reliability standards, self-service patterns, and golden-path templates.
- Own network policies, pod security, secrets rotation, vulnerability scanning, and access controls in a regulated environment.
- Partner with reliability engineers and senior architects, conduct architectural reviews, mentor engineers, and influence enterprise engineering practices.
- Deliver measurable improvements in automation deflection, operational toil, incident recurrence, platform uptime, and developer velocity.
Requirements
- 10+ years of progressive technology experience with substantial hands-on architecture and delivery of automation, AIOps, agentic systems, or cloud-native platforms at enterprise scale.
- Demonstrated ownership of measurable production deflection or operational-toil-reduction outcomes.
- Deep experience with agent runtimes, multi-agent orchestration, tool integration, memory, state management, and at least one of LangGraph, LangChain, LlamaIndex, or MCP.
- Production experience with prompt engineering, retrieval-augmented generation, structured outputs, and multi-model routing.
- Deep experience with Kubernetes at scale, container workloads, Terraform, and at least one of AWS Bedrock/SageMaker, Azure AI Foundry, or Vertex AI.
- Expert-level Python experience for production services; Go experience is welcome.
- Strong CI/CD experience for AI and agentic workloads, including deployment, versioning, canary or blue-green strategies, evaluation gates, and rollback.
- Experience with metrics, logs, traces, and agent-decision telemetry using Prometheus, Grafana, OpenTelemetry, and an enterprise stack such as Splunk, Datadog, or Dynatrace.
- Experience establishing automated evaluations, drift detection, human-in-the-loop verification, guardrails, and feedback loops.
- Strong security engineering foundation involving network policies, secrets management, vulnerability scanning, and access controls.
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a closely related field.
- Exceptional communication skills and ability to translate technical strategy for senior business and technology leadership.
- Preferred qualifications include operational ML, AI observability, ServiceNow and Microsoft Teams integrations, vector databases, internal developer platforms, REST/gRPC APIs, distributed systems, policy-as-code, AWS cloud services, FinOps, regulated-industry experience, React, and TypeScript.
