Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Partner with software engineers, designers, and product managers to deliver high-performing front-end features for 100M+ customers.
- Provide technical leadership for front-end architecture, design patterns, performance, accessibility, and reusable components.
- Lead the design and development of client Backend-for-Frontends and micro frontend or federated application architectures.
- Define engineering practices for feature flags and canary rollouts.
- Mentor engineers through feedback, code reviews, best-practice sharing, and AI-assisted development guidance.
- Contribute to API design reviews, automated testing, web performance tuning, and modern web platform development.
- Champion agentic AI tools and AI-native development practices.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science or a related quantitative field.
- At least 4 years of professional software engineering experience; internship experience does not apply.
- At least 3 years of experience developing applications with TypeScript, HTML, CSS, and modern web frameworks such as React, Angular, Vue, or Svelte.
- Proven experience with TypeScript, JavaScript, modern web frameworks, HTML, and CSS.
- Experience with automated testing frameworks such as Jest, Cypress, or Playwright.
- Experience designing scalable front-end architectures and reusable component libraries.
- Experience designing client Backend-for-Frontends and orchestrating data with technologies such as GraphQL and gRPC/Protobuf.
- Experience with micro frontend or federated architecture patterns, metrics-driven canary releases, and feature flag strategies.
- Expertise with agentic AI coding tools and AI-assisted workflow patterns.

- Annual salary ranges vary by location: $197,300-$225,100 in McLean, VA and $215,200-$245,600 in New York, NY.
- The role may include performance-based incentive compensation, including cash bonuses and/or long-term incentives.
