Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Serve as a subject matter expert across business and technical domains.
- Lead planning, execution, and release of complex technical projects across multiple teams.
- Own medium- to large-scale features or infrastructure projects from technical design through completion.
- Partner with product managers, designers, and other stakeholders to solve challenging problems.
- Lead and mentor engineers and engineering teams while setting technical direction and engineering standards.
- Deliver large or complex technology capabilities across one or more domains.
- Identify and mitigate cross-team delivery risks and contribute to organization-wide projects.
- Influence technical and product roadmap prioritization and process improvements.
- Reduce failure domains and build software that minimizes maintenance effort and business impact during failures.
- Guide the development of Service-Level Objectives for responsible systems.
- Comply with applicable laws and regulations and perform other assigned duties.
Requirements
- 7+ years of professional software engineering experience.
- 5+ years leading cross-pod or cross-company deliverables.
- 5+ years leading technical contributions and improving the quality of team output.
- 5+ years applying computer science concepts in a team environment.
- 5+ years setting and enforcing standards for stable, correct, and maintainable code.
- 5+ years leading technical teams, including mentoring and training junior engineers.
Benefits
- Hybrid New York City work schedule with three days in the office per week; Thursdays are required and the other two office days are flexible.
- Base pay of $192,000-$252,000 per year, plus employee benefits, equity grants, and annual performance bonuses.
