Base Salary
$126k - $195k/yr
Responsibilities
- Build high-quality, clean, scalable, reusable code using software engineering best practices.
- Partner with developers and product owners to understand requirements and own work from design and implementation through test automation and delivery.
- Design software that is simple to use and enables customers to extend and customize functionality.
- Design and implement new products and features while enhancing the existing product suite.
- Use Java and JavaScript to build web-based applications with an emphasis on reusability and componentization.
Requirements
- 2–5 years of proficiency in Java and JavaScript.
- Knowledge of data structures, algorithms, object-oriented design, design patterns, and performance and scalability considerations.
- Basic knowledge of relational databases and SQL.
- Ability to work across a JVM/Maven backend using Java and ServiceNow Glide platform conventions, as well as a Node/TypeScript server-side rendering stack.
- Familiarity with modern web services and RESTful APIs.
- Understanding of AI/ML concepts; hands-on experience with LLMs or AI APIs is a plus.
- Experience integrating or critically evaluating AI in work processes, decision-making, problem-solving, workflow automation, or analysis.
- Experience with AI productivity tools such as Claude, Windsurf, or Cursor is a plus.
- Exposure to multiple technology stacks, cloud development, platforms, web development, frameworks, and service-oriented architecture.
- Working knowledge of development tools and environments including IDEs, debuggers, build tools, source control, ServiceNow instances, profilers, and Unix system administration tools.
