Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deliver high-quality full-stack software focused on scalability, performance, and maintainability.
- Translate product requirements and design specifications into robust, reusable, and extensible software.
- Contribute to technical designs and architectural decisions.
- Ensure software quality through code reviews, automated testing, debugging, and continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with product, design, and engineering teams to deliver features and resolve technical challenges.
- Explore relevant technologies, including AI-powered tools, to improve engineering productivity and problem-solving.
- Share technical knowledge, mentor teammates, and contribute to a collaborative engineering culture.
- Work in a Scrum-based Agile development environment to plan, prioritize, and deliver software iteratively.
Requirements
- Strong knowledge of data structures, algorithms, object-oriented design, and software design patterns.
- At least 3 years of experience developing web applications with JavaScript and modern frameworks or libraries such as React or Node.js.
- Strong Java proficiency and experience developing Java-based applications.
- At least 3 years of experience developing web-based or cloud-based applications.
- Proficiency with HTML5, CSS3, and web services or APIs; Angular, GraphQL, and ES6+ familiarity are pluses.
- Experience with unit, integration, and automated testing and continuous integration practices.
- Familiarity with relational databases such as Oracle, MySQL, or Microsoft SQL Server.
- Experience in an Agile software development environment and effective cross-functional communication.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills and ability to learn new technologies quickly.
- Experience using AI-powered tools or identifying opportunities to apply AI to engineering workflows.
- Unix/Linux, shell scripting, functional programming, reusable frameworks, shared platform capabilities, and component-based architecture experience are pluses.
- Bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
