Responsibilities
- Design, develop, implement, and support LOCP platform capabilities across development, test, and production environments.
- Build and maintain platform services using infrastructure as code, automation, and modern engineering practices.
- Apply SRE principles to improve platform reliability, scalability, performance, and operational effectiveness.
- Develop observability capabilities covering logging, metrics, tracing, dashboards, and alerting.
- Perform troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and problem resolution across platform services and infrastructure components.
- Collaborate with engineering, product, architecture, application, and SRE teams to deliver platform capabilities.
- Participate in technical design discussions, peer reviews, knowledge sharing, documentation, and engineering community activities.
- Operate within agile and iterative delivery models while maintaining quality, reliability, automation, and engineering standards.
Requirements
- Strong experience in several platform-engineering disciplines and expertise in at least two of the following: Kubernetes-based platforms, Terraform and infrastructure as code, SRE practices, observability, Go software engineering and automation, Linux systems, or Git-based software delivery.
- Experience building, operating, or supporting Kubernetes-based platforms in enterprise or large-scale production environments.
- Experience with SRE practices including automation, operational excellence, incident management, and service reliability.
- Experience with observability technologies for metrics, logging, tracing, monitoring, alerting, and dashboards.
- Strong Go programming, Linux systems, troubleshooting, performance-analysis, platform-operations, and software-delivery experience is valued.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, effective communication, collaboration, ownership, and commitment to continuous learning are required.
