Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and maintain software applications and services.
- Collaborate with product owners, developers, architects, and stakeholders to deliver business value.
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code and participate in code reviews and design discussions.
- Troubleshoot defects, performance issues, and production problems.
- Use AI-assisted and agentic development tools to improve engineering productivity and software quality.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of development practices, automation, testing, and deployment processes.
- Learn new technologies and programming languages as required by project needs.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- At least 2+ years of professional software development experience outside internship experience.
- Demonstrated proficiency in at least one of C++, Python, Java, or C#.
- Understanding of object-oriented programming, data structures and algorithms, Git, software testing principles, debugging, and problem solving.
- Experience using AI-assisted development tools for software engineering tasks.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
- Preferred: internship, co-op, research, or personal project experience demonstrating software development skills.
- Preferred: experience with agentic software development tools such as GitHub Copilot, Cursor, Claude Code, OpenAI Codex, Windsurf, or similar platforms.
- Preferred: experience developing applications, services, APIs, or automation solutions.
- Preferred: familiarity with Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud; CI/CD pipelines; modern development practices; and Agile software development methodologies.
