Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Fine-tune state-of-the-art LLMs for diverse use cases.
- Optimize models for high-performance deployment on Airbnb’s ML infrastructure.
- Collaborate with product managers, software engineers, and data scientists to develop AI products.
- Create a multi-year tech roadmap to leverage cutting-edge AI technologies.
- Evaluate and refine large foundational models for enhanced performance.
- Prototype, develop, and productionize LLM models and pipelines at scale.
- Drive key AI architectural decisions and contribute to ML platform strategy.
Requirements
- PhD in Computer Science, Machine Learning, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field.
- 10+ years of experience developing machine learning models and products at scale.
- Proficient in Python and experienced with frameworks like PyTorch.
- Proven record of training, fine-tuning, and optimizing models.
- Post-training experience in data processing, LLM alignment, and reinforcement learning.
- Specialized experience in runtime optimizations, model quantization, and GPU inference is a plus.
