Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain customer-facing applications and core internal integrations.
- Maintain existing systems, diagnose and fix defects, and implement long-term production fixes.
- Automate processes and build tools that eliminate repetitive tasks.
- Design, develop, test, and maintain applications using multiple programming languages and frameworks.
- Design or integrate agentic AI solutions that use foundation models, tool and API invocation, and multi-step workflow context.
- Integrate or consume AI/ML models and APIs for use cases such as recommendations, natural language processing, classification, and forecasting.
- Query and manipulate relational database data and work with external storage systems.
- Participate in self-organizing teams and collaborate with the Systems Assurance Group to improve monitoring.
- Participate in operational support and on-call rotations as required.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited four-year college or university, or equivalent professional experience.
- At least three years of professional software development experience.
- Strong knowledge of object-oriented programming principles, modern development practices, SOLID principles, and common design patterns.
- Experience with C#, .NET, JavaScript, jQuery, Angular or React, T-SQL, HTML, and CSS.
- Strong SQL skills and experience querying and manipulating relational database data.
- Experience designing or integrating agentic AI solutions and familiarity with generative AI platforms and AI-assisted development tools.
- Understanding of data pipelines, model inputs and outputs, and basic AI model lifecycle concepts.
- Knowledge of testing frameworks, automation strategies, and quality engineering practices.
- Ability to troubleshoot production issues, continuously learn emerging technologies, and participate in on-call support.
- Ability to sit for extended periods while performing sedentary, computer-based work.
