Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain software using Java, Spring Boot, microservices, React frontends, and AWS ECS.
- Build and deploy cloud-based applications and support CI/CD and DevOps processes using Jenkins and Spinnaker.
- Create user interfaces, integrations, data pipelines, and tooling in collaboration with designers, product owners, and engineers.
- Optimize applications for performance, scalability, and cross-browser compatibility while troubleshooting production issues.
- Participate in code reviews, requirement refinement, user-story development, engineering communities, and cross-functional delivery.
- Translate business and operational needs into technical solutions and contribute to data-driven and AI-enabled user experiences.
Requirements
- Formal training or certification in software engineering concepts and at least 2 years of applied experience.
- Hands-on experience with Java, Spring Boot, microservices, React frontends, and AWS ECS.
- Familiarity with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, Jenkins, Spinnaker, SQL, and Kafka.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments, refining requirements, crafting user stories, and collaborating with diverse teams.
- Preferred experience with AWS data engineering, including S3, Glue, Lambda, Aurora/PostgreSQL, and data pipeline design.
- Preferred knowledge of database and schema design, banking operations and data, AI principles, agentic frameworks, prompting, workflows, tools, and Python.
