Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain end-to-end test automation frameworks using Playwright and TypeScript.
- Write and execute automated tests for functional, regression, and integration scenarios.
- Establish and document QA practices, procedures, and standards.
- Collaborate with developers to investigate and resolve defects and promote test automation best practices.
- Contribute to story planning and acceptance criteria within Scrum ceremonies.
- Track, analyze, and report software quality metrics across sprints and releases.
- Escalate and drive resolution of software quality issues across the team.
- Recommend improvements to software quality and user experience.
- Stay current with automation tooling and industry trends.
Requirements
- At least four years of hands-on test automation experience with strong Playwright and TypeScript proficiency.
- Deep understanding of functional, regression, UAT, system integration, and exploratory testing methodologies.
- Experience designing and building test automation frameworks from the ground up.
- Experience using AI coding agents or willingness to adopt them quickly.
- Knowledge of Git and team-based version control practices.
- Strong understanding of the DOM and maintainable locator strategies.
- Experience with defect tracking and test management tools such as Jira and TestRail.
- Ability to communicate technical issues to technical and non-technical audiences.
- Experience with usability and accessibility testing.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum teams and proficiency in English.
- Jira experience and developer documentation skills using Notion are nice to have.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines is nice to have.
