Responsibilities
- Design Pega applications, process flows, SLAs, skill-based routing, class structures, data models, indexing, reporting, and reusable components.
- Develop integrations with databases and external systems using SOAP, REST, HTTP connectors, JMS, MQ, listeners, batch processes, and agents.
- Implement application security using access groups, roles, and privileges.
- Perform code reviews, comply with Pega guardrails, use AES and SMA tools, and support application upgrades.
- Manage environments, deployment activities, project-level metrics, UI and reporting elements, and decision management techniques.
- Lead Agile delivery activities and handle multiple Scrum teams.
- Develop with HTML, JavaScript, PL/SQL, and Python while independently handling client calls and team management.
Requirements
- At least 7.5 years of experience is required; the posting additionally states an overall minimum of 8 years of hands-on experience.
- 15 years of full-time education is required.
- Pega Platform experience is mandatory, including Pega frameworks such as CS, CSHC, CWS, and CMF.
- Mandatory Pega CSA and CSSA certifications are required.
- Experience in application development and system integration, preferably beyond predominantly maintenance projects.
- Strong understanding of Pega ruleset hierarchy, decision management, UI and reporting, security, integrations, deployments, and code-quality practices.
- Experience with Python development and prompt engineering.
- Ability to handle client calls independently, manage pressure situations, and efficiently lead teams.
- CLSA Part 1 certification, Anthropic, AWS, or Google certifications, React.js, Node.js, and upgrade experience are preferred.
