Responsibilities
- Design Pega applications, process flows, SLAs, skill-based routing, class structures, data models, indexing, and reporting.
- Integrate databases and external systems using SOAP, REST, HTTP connectors, JMS, MQ, listeners, batch processes, and agents.
- Develop reusable components and maintain code quality through reviews, guardrail compliance, AES, and SMA tools.
- Design application security using access groups, roles, and privileges.
- Manage Pega environments, deployment activities, project metrics, UI and reporting elements, and decision management techniques.
- Deliver application development and system integration work in Agile environments while supporting multiple scrum teams.
- Handle client calls independently and manage team performance and project situations.
Requirements
- At least 7.5 years of experience is required, with 8 years of hands-on experience overall.
- 15 years of full-time education is required.
- Hands-on experience with Pega Platform and Pega frameworks including CS, CSHC, CWS, and CMF.
- Experience with HTML, JavaScript, PL/SQL, Python, SOAP, REST, JMS, MQ, and application/system integration.
- Strong understanding of Pega ruleset hierarchy, security, deployment, reporting, UI elements, and decision management.
- Mandatory CSA and CSSA certifications; CLSA Part 1 is preferred.
- Experience with prompt engineering is required or expected as part of the technical skill set.
- Strong communication skills, ability to handle client calls independently, team-management capability, and ability to work under pressure.
