Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Design, implement, maintain, and optimize Azure cloud infrastructure and services.
- Automate Azure resource provisioning and configuration with Terraform, Azure Resource Manager templates, and Ansible.
- Implement Azure security controls, access management, DDoS protection, threat protection, encryption, and federal compliance practices.
- Develop and manage deployment pipelines with GitLab, Jenkins, and Azure DevOps Pipelines.
- Monitor system health and performance using Azure monitoring, logging, and application-insights services.
- Configure Azure networking, DNS, load balancing, application gateways, and ExpressRoute connectivity.
- Support Azure migrations and hybrid environments using Azure Arc, Azure Migrate, and Azure Site Recovery.
- Create automation scripts with Python, PowerShell, and Bash.
- Implement Azure backup strategies, blob lifecycle management, and snapshot automation.
- Collaborate with government agencies, DevOps teams, and security engineers to align solutions with mission and compliance requirements.
Requirements
- Active Secret security clearance.
- Azure Solutions Architect certification is preferred, or an equivalent Azure certification.
- At least 5 years of experience in cloud engineering, DevOps, or systems administration focused on Microsoft Azure.
- At least 3 years of experience with Azure cloud engineering, Terraform infrastructure as code, GitLab, and CI/CD pipelines.
- At least 4 years of experience with PowerShell scripting.
- Hands-on experience with Ansible, Jenkins, GitHub, and Azure DevOps services.
- Experience with multi-cloud and hybrid environments integrating Azure with on-premises infrastructure.
- Strong proficiency with Azure networking services, including Virtual Networks, Azure DNS, VPN Gateway, ExpressRoute, Azure Load Balancer, and Application Gateway.
- Strong knowledge of Azure Active Directory, encryption, security monitoring, and FedRAMP, NIST, and DoD security standards.
- Proficiency in Python, PowerShell, Bash, and YAML/JSON for cloud automation and systems management.
