Responsibilities
- Design, build, test, and ship high-quality software across front-end and back-end technologies.
- Collaborate with engineers, UX engineers, architects, product, and cross-functional partners throughout planning, design, development, and testing.
- Refine testable user stories, provide estimates, and contribute to work plans.
- Prototype ideas through proof-of-concepts, gather feedback, and move successful concepts into production.
- Participate in peer reviews, support releases, and troubleshoot technical and application issues.
- Monitor performance and capacity across code, infrastructure, data, and message processing.
- Safeguard protected health information and support security and privacy requirements.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of software engineering experience using a mix of front-end and back-end technologies in a product-oriented, cross-functional team.
- Strong programming skills with technologies such as .NET, Java, ASP.NET, C#, React, or React Native.
- Solid SQL skills and experience with CI/CD and Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with engineering, product, and cross-functional partners.
- Experience using AI tools for activities such as code generation, testing, documentation, or reviews.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field is preferred but not required.
- Preferred experience includes containerization, cloud platforms such as Azure, messaging technologies such as Kafka or RabbitMQ, caching technologies such as Redis or Couchbase, and document databases.
- Familiarity with TDD, Domain-Driven Design, or dependency injection frameworks is preferred.
