Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable and secure solutions on Google Cloud Platform.
- Provide technical guidance and consultancy to internal and client teams.
- Lead architectural discussions and solution workshops with clients.
- Support modern data, AI, GenAI, and cloud transformation initiatives.
- Build greenfield cloud-native applications and modernization programs.
- Support workload migration and infrastructure modernization projects.
- Collaborate with development teams on cloud engineering and release processes.
- Produce high-quality technical documentation and solution designs.
- Stay updated on Google Cloud innovations and share knowledge with internal teams.
- Contribute to the growth of the internal Google Cloud community at Valtech.
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of experience in cloud engineering, architecture, or development.
- At least 2 years of hands-on experience with core Google Cloud services.
- Experience with Google Cloud data services such as BigQuery or Dataflow.
- Professional Google Cloud certification (e.g., Professional Cloud Architect or Professional Cloud Developer).
- Knowledge of Infrastructure-as-Code tools such as Terraform.
- Understanding of cloud security best practices.
- Experience working in Agile environments.
- Excellent written and spoken communication skills in French and English.
