Responsibilities
- Develop and evolve backend solutions in Java for the Consigned Credit platform.
- Build and maintain high-availability, high-performance APIs and microservices.
- Define and implement scalable, resilient, and secure solutions.
- Integrate modern systems with legacy applications.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver business-aligned solutions.
- Investigate technical issues, analyze incidents, and resolve complex problems.
- Contribute to continuous improvement, process automation, and application evolution.
- Participate in technical discussions and promote software engineering best practices.
Requirements
- Solid backend development experience with Java and Spring Boot.
- Experience with microservices architecture, REST APIs, and integration patterns.
- Knowledge of relational and non-relational databases, especially MongoDB and DB2.
- Experience with messaging using Kafka and/or MQ.
- Experience working with high-volume environments and critical systems.
- Knowledge of legacy system integration.
- Ability to understand end-to-end flows and resolve complex problems.
- Knowledge of application observability and monitoring.
- Experience with Consigned Credit is a plus.
- Experience in the banking or financial sector is a plus.
- Knowledge of Dynatrace, Elastic Stack, and Datadog is a plus.
- Experience with distributed architectures and mission-critical systems is a plus.
