Staff Endpoint Software Engineer, Prompt (Python & OS Internals)

Responsibilities
- Build and optimize low-footprint, high-performance sensor components for diverse customer environments.
- Design adaptive policy logic, decision engines, and expanded platform coverage for Agentic AI capabilities.
- Build and integrate endpoint and browser security components for real-time Generative AI threat detection and data protection.
- Investigate, reproduce, and rapidly fix customer-facing production issues through resolution.
- Translate customer, product, business, and roadmap context into engineering decisions.
- Collaborate with security engineering, QA, product, and customer-facing teams.
- Track advances in Generative AI and platform security and incorporate relevant improvements into sensors, agents, and extensions.
Requirements
- At least 6 years of experience with Python, Node.js, or a comparable language.
- Experience with macOS and Windows Endpoint Security.
- Proficiency in operating system architecture and internals.
- Strong customer orientation and ability to diagnose and resolve issues in real-world conditions.
- Business and product awareness with judgment to weigh technical decisions against business impact.
- Strong accountability, problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and commitment to personal and team growth.
- Browser extension development experience with Chrome, Firefox, or similar is advantageous.
