Responsibilities
- Design, build, and improve key product capabilities for the data observability suite.
- Investigate software-related complaints and make adjustments to improve performance.
- Optimize open-source data engines.
- Design, build, and maintain low-latency APIs.
- Develop services consumed by frontend and solutions engineering teams.
- Collaborate with frontend and product teams and participate in project and technical discussions.
Requirements
- 4–8 years of experience with JVM technologies including Java, Scala, or Kotlin.
- Strong data structure, algorithm design, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with database systems, RDBMS, Mongo, and Elastic Search.
- Experience with cloud technologies.
- Knowledge of distributed systems, enterprise software, and SQL.
- Experience with Spark or Kafka is a bonus.
- Experience with data quality or data catalogs is preferred.
