Responsibilities
- Design and implement secure, scalable, resilient, and maintainable end-to-end AWS solutions.
- Design, build, operate, and troubleshoot Amazon EKS environments and Kubernetes workloads.
- Implement AWS Bedrock and related AWS services for secure, scalable generative AI workloads.
- Build reusable cloud infrastructure components with AWS CDK and Infrastructure as Code.
- Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitLab CI/CD and/or GitHub Actions.
- Design AWS networking architectures covering VPCs, subnets, routing, private connectivity, DNS, load balancing, and ingress/egress patterns.
- Apply security by design through IAM, least-privilege access, secrets and key management, encryption, and network security.
- Implement logging, monitoring, alerting, and observability for production environments.
- Build and integrate AWS services including Lambda, IAM, CloudWatch, S3, and API Gateway.
- Collaborate with cloud engineers, application teams, architects, security specialists, and stakeholders while contributing to engineering standards and documentation.
Requirements
- Strong hands-on experience designing and implementing AWS solutions.
- Deep practical knowledge of Amazon EKS and Kubernetes, including production-grade cluster and workload architectures.
- Experience with AWS Bedrock or strong experience building cloud-based generative AI/ML solutions.
- Strong experience with AWS CDK and Infrastructure as Code.
- Strong understanding of AWS networking, including VPC architecture, routing, connectivity, DNS, security groups, and load balancing.
- Strong understanding of AWS security and IAM, including least-privilege design and secure cloud architecture.
- Experience designing and implementing automated CI/CD pipelines, ideally with GitLab CI/CD and/or GitHub Actions.
- Experience with AWS logging, monitoring, and observability, particularly CloudWatch.
- Working knowledge of serverless and event-driven AWS architectures, including AWS Lambda.
- Experience operating and troubleshooting production cloud environments.
- Ability to work across solution design, architecture, implementation, and operation.
