Responsibilities
- Conduct security assessments, security reviews, and threat modeling for product features and architectures.
- Develop and maintain security tooling, guidelines, and standards for product development.
- Provide security guidance and support to product teams throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Integrate security tools into CI/CD and tune rules to reduce false positives.
- Write scripts to automate manual tasks.
- Research and evaluate new security technologies and solutions and monitor current security trends and threats.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 5+ years of experience in product security, application security, or software engineering.
- Experience with security tools and frameworks such as OWASP and NIST.
- Experience with security testing methodologies and tools, including static analysis, dynamic analysis, and penetration testing.
- Strong knowledge of web and mobile security, cloud security, cryptography, and network security.
- Proficiency in at least one programming language such as Python, Java, or C#.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, collaboration, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve problems independently and as part of a team.
