Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain backend services and APIs for the Policy Auditor.
- Own features end to end across design, implementation, testing, deployment, and production monitoring.
- Build scalable data-processing and analysis flows over security policies and logs.
- Integrate AI-based capabilities into policy analysis and recommendation features where appropriate.
- Collaborate with product, UI, and R&D teams to deliver complete features.
- Investigate and resolve complex production issues in distributed, multi-component systems.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience as a Backend Software Developer.
- Strong hands-on experience with Java.
- B.Sc. in Computer Science or an equivalent degree.
- Experience with Linux and Git.
- Solid understanding of software design, data structures, and scalable server-side systems.
- Experience with PostgreSQL, MongoDB, MySQL, Oracle, Solr, or Elasticsearch is advantageous.
- Knowledge of networking and network security concepts or familiarity with Check Point products is advantageous.
- Experience integrating GenAI or LLM-based features into production services is advantageous.
- Strong communication skills, teamwork, and a sense of ownership.
