Responsibilities
- Design and implement reusable infrastructure-as-code and Ansible automation frameworks.
- Develop enterprise playbooks for operating-system provisioning, patching, storage, backup, monitoring, and recovery.
- Integrate automation into CI/CD toolchains, ServiceNow workflows, approval gates, and change-management processes.
- Build and maintain DXC ROMS orchestration, including scheduled, ticket-triggered, mail-triggered, human-triggered, and API-based execution modes.
- Implement observability-driven automation using Dynatrace, SolarWinds, ServiceNow, and Ansible for diagnostics, remediation, and validation.
- Ensure automation complies with governance, NCA and NDMO requirements, documentation standards, pre-checks, back-out plans, post-validation, and evidence-trail requirements.
- Mentor junior engineers and support teams on infrastructure automation best practices.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or computer science.
- At least 7 years of experience in IT automation roles with leadership in infrastructure-as-code delivery.
- Expertise in Ansible, Terraform, PowerShell, and Python.
- Familiarity with Azure DevOps, Git, and ServiceNow integration.
- Experience with operating-system provisioning, backup, performance automation, monitoring, and recovery processes.
- Required certifications include HashiCorp Terraform Associate, Red Hat Ansible Automation Platform, and ITIL v4.
- Required proficiency with DXC ROMS, RHEL, PostgreSQL, Jenkins, Ansible playbooks, and Git-versioned automation.
- Knowledge of Dynatrace closed-loop automation, SolarWinds-triggered network automation, Bridge AIOps, and ServiceNow approval and evidence workflows.
- Bilingual Arabic and English proficiency.
