Base Salary
$83k - $138k/yr
Responsibilities
- Develop and improve software that is fast, secure, reliable, and aligned with defined requirements.
- Build APIs, event-driven services, message-based processing, integrations, and cloud-native solutions for warehouse, transportation, fulfillment, and inventory workflows.
- Monitor, diagnose, and correct complex software defects and identify root causes.
- Design prototypes and concepts, recommend technical optimizations, and support product and software roadmaps.
- Coordinate moderately complex work, assign short-term team schedules, and contribute to program objectives.
- Guide database resource design, physical modeling, legacy database development, and performance tuning.
- Collect and express functional and technical requirements through document and workflow analysis.
- Support the development and coaching of more junior teammates and maintain current knowledge of relevant technologies and practices.
Requirements
- More than 3 to 6 years of general experience.
- Basic experience coordinating the work of others, with 4 to 6 months of managerial experience.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent level preferred.
- Experience with Kotlin or Java and Spring Boot for backend services.
- Experience with event-driven architecture, Kafka, RabbitMQ, Apache Camel, and/or Spring Integration.
- Experience with distributed systems, microservices, Microsoft Azure, AKS, Azure Functions, Docker, Kubernetes, databases, Linux/Unix, and Git-based version control.
- Experience with React and/or React Native, observability tooling, infrastructure automation, and secure software development practices.
- Supply chain background and Manhattan Active Supply Chain experience are preferred.
