Responsibilities
- Plan and execute new game features.
- Collaborate with designers and product managers to deliver player experiences.
- Mentor junior engineers and support their professional development.
- Improve code performance by reducing load times and improving frame rates.
- Participate in code reviews, retrospectives, technical discussions, and roadmap planning.
- Write documentation and follow coding standards.
- Contribute to technical planning, solution research, proposals, and implementation.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in the video games industry.
- Proficiency in Unity, C#, and C++.
- Proficiency in 3D math used in games.
- Experience working with player-focused cross-functional teams.
- Experience with plugin integration.
- Knowledge of native Android and iOS development.
- Experience with game engines such as Unity or Unreal is a bonus.
- Ability to work across client and server codebases is a bonus.
- Familiarity with profiling, optimization, debugging scalable data systems, CI/CD build pipelines, and metrics and analytics is a bonus.
