Responsibilities
- Design and implement integrations between the ArcGIS geospatial cloud and cloud-based BIM systems, including Autodesk Docs, Autodesk Platform Services, and Autodesk Forma.
- Develop public and internal APIs for integrating GIS, BIM, and related information systems.
- Build TypeScript components and widgets compatible with ArcGIS Experience Builder.
- Develop geoprocessing tools that automate BIM data linking and migration to ArcGIS.
- Communicate best practices for extending ArcGIS to AEC and BIM industries with industry developers.
- Design real-time and batch data pipelines to synchronize versioned BIM data with GIS.
- Construct complex microservice pipelines for large BIM datasets.
- Collaborate with product owners, product engineers, and software engineering peers on GIS-AEC integration.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of software product development experience.
- Demonstrated experience developing cloud infrastructure, backend services, and data pipelines.
- Exceptional understanding of at least two of TypeScript, JavaScript, Node.js, Bootstrap, React, Angular, other responsive web frameworks, C++, .NET, or Python.
- Knowledge of software engineering processes and proficiency with Git.
- Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, or a related field.
- Preferred experience with 2D and 3D computational geometry and scalable full-stack software engineering.
- Preferred awareness of Autodesk Platform Services, ObjectARX, Revit APIs, and ArcGIS web application development.
- Preferred familiarity with TypeScript, React, Angular, or other component libraries or frameworks.
- Preferred experience with Amazon Web Services or Microsoft Azure.
- Preferred experience implementing unit and integration tests.
