Responsibilities
- Plan, lead, and actively contribute to web and mobile application development.
- Understand and take ownership of the full system, including teaching system knowledge to others.
- Contribute to service strategy and architectural decisions.
- Provide technical support and mentoring to junior developers.
- Improve system robustness, resilience, and stability.
- Architect web-based solutions and introduce new technologies and tooling into existing systems and processes.
Requirements
- Commercial full-stack JavaScript and .NET development experience using Node.js or .NET Core and Web API.
- Commercial experience developing web applications in containerized environments, particularly Docker.
- Commercial experience working with content management systems.
- Experience designing and developing applications using databases such as PostgreSQL, MongoDB, or Microsoft SQL Server.
- Experience with front-end technologies such as ReactJS, VueJS, AngularJS, or MVC.
- Experience supporting and mentoring junior developers on technical queries and best practices.
- Experience architecting web-based solutions and introducing technologies and tooling into existing systems and processes.
- Desirable experience with Mesos/Marathon or Kubernetes container orchestration platforms.
- Desirable experience with ReactJS component libraries, CI/CD frameworks and build pipelines, mobile app development frameworks, AWS Lambda, Jamstack, PHP, WordPress, AWS, or Azure.
- Excellent communication skills, self-motivation, and a delivery-focused approach.
