Responsibilities
- Develop, test, document, maintain, debug, and enhance new and existing software systems.
- Execute the full software development lifecycle, including requirements analysis, design, implementation, integration, verification, quality assurance, and support.
- Build web applications, backend services, APIs, and software components using technologies such as ASP.NET, NodeJS, C#, JavaScript, and SQL.
- Integrate software with Microsoft and Oracle database platforms and other business systems.
- Create flowcharts, designs, technical specifications, operational feasibility assessments, and software documentation.
- Develop software verification plans and procedures, test data and systems, and perform functional quality assurance.
- Troubleshoot and update existing systems, collect and document end-user feedback, and support user training.
- Provide post-implementation support for business software solutions through programming and system configuration.
- Follow project plans, industry standards, internal policies, and procedures.
- Potentially lead projects or serve as a team leader for the work group.
Requirements
- Associate degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Systems Engineering, or a related discipline, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 4–7 years of related experience.
- Experience creating application and component designs that support stable PCB designs.
- At least 1 year of experience with web technologies including HTML, JavaScript, and CSS.
- At least 1 year of experience designing, maintaining, and developing SQL and relational databases.
- At least 1 year of experience building web applications, backend services, and APIs with ASP.NET or NodeJS.
- Experience with at least one compiled language such as Java, C, or C# and one interpreted language such as JavaScript, Python, or PowerShell.
- Understanding of software engineering principles, frameworks, and technologies, including object-oriented design, functional programming, data encapsulation, software design patterns, and unit testing.
- Experience with data warehousing.
- Ability to use Microsoft .NET development technologies, TFS, Unix and Windows operating systems, and software troubleshooting practices.
- Intermediate English proficiency; French and/or Spanish skills are indicated in the language requirements.
- Preferred qualifications include predictive analytics, automated scripting and software development, direct end-user requirements gathering and analysis, and relevant architecture or application-development certifications.
- Strong analytical, reasoning, problem-solving, communication, organizational, time-management, teamwork, customer-service, and prioritization skills.
