Responsibilities
- Coach and mentor engineers and solution designers across the Product-to-Cash domain, especially on Revenue Cloud Advanced and billing.
- Partner with the Principal Salesforce Architect and other architects to establish architectural direction and solve complex business and technical challenges.
- Produce high-level designs, low-level designs, conceptual diagrams, architecture roadmaps, system roadmaps, and proofs of concept.
- Define, maintain, and enforce Salesforce platform standards and promote design patterns and standard solution-development processes.
- Architect and govern the complete Product-to-Cash lifecycle, including quoting, contracting, ordering, fulfilment, billing, invoicing, revenue, customer success, and customer support.
- Design and govern billing systems covering invoicing, billing schedules, payments, dunning, and revenue recognition.
- Design and govern integrations across billing, ERP, and other systems while ensuring data integrity, security, compliance, and seamless data flow.
- Identify and resolve process and technology gaps, clarify requirements, and drive remediation through delivery.
- Apply Agentforce and Claude-based solutions where they add value to business and technical problem solving.
- Work with development teams, SMEs, Product Owners, data architects, integration architects, and solution architects to translate requirements into scalable enterprise solutions.
- Research emerging Salesforce and billing capabilities and recommend robust, cost-effective solutions.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field.
- 10+ years of Salesforce experience across implementation, configuration, and solution design.
- 3–5 years of Salesforce architecture experience, with the minimum architecture experience required.
- Deep hands-on expertise in Revenue Cloud Advanced and CPQ, including the ability to coach and mentor others.
- Experience producing HLDs, LLDs, and conceptual diagrams and managing architecture and system roadmaps.
- Experience architecting and delivering end-to-end Product-to-Cash Salesforce solutions.
- Strong experience with billing platforms, including invoicing, billing schedules, payments, dunning, and revenue recognition.
- Experience designing and governing cross-system integrations and resolving Product-to-Cash process and technology gaps.
- Exposure to Agentforce and Claude-based solutions and experience with Salesforce Connected Apps from the Salesforce AppExchange.
- Experience designing and delivering complex B2B SaaS Salesforce solutions.
- Familiarity with managed packages such as Gong, DocuSign CLM, Kantata, Gainsight, Showpad, Qualtrics, or similar enterprise applications is preferred.
- Strong understanding of Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Revenue Cloud, Salesforce architecture capabilities, and the Salesforce ecosystem.
- Strong leadership, coaching, interpersonal, analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Salesforce Certified Application Architect or Salesforce Certified System Architect certification is preferred.
- Familiarity with TOGAF, C4, ArchiMate, or similar enterprise architecture frameworks and an understanding of security architecture principles and practices.
