Responsibilities
- Develop backend-focused SaaS features and cloud infrastructure for the WAF product.
- Design, build, and maintain infrastructure supporting customer environments, production workloads, and global SaaS deployments.
- Create and operate new points of presence and improve provisioning, scalability, and availability.
- Build capabilities including certificate management, CDN-related flows, DDoS-related features, and onboarding flows.
- Develop and operate automation, deployment processes, monitoring, logging, dashboards, alerts, and operational tools.
- Own features and infrastructure components from design and implementation through deployment, observability, support, and production operation.
- Support production environments, investigate customer issues, and collaborate with development, DevOps, product, security research, and support teams.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience as a software developer, DevOps engineer, infrastructure engineer, or in a similar cloud-oriented development role.
- B.Sc. in Computer Science or Software Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
- Strong programming skills in Python, Node.js, or a similar programming language.
- Hands-on experience deploying, configuring, troubleshooting, and operating Docker and Kubernetes in production.
- Experience with cloud platforms, preferably AWS, and with CI/CD, automation, and deployment processes.
- Experience with databases, preferably NoSQL databases such as MongoDB.
- Understanding of production-system scalability, availability, monitoring, logging, and incident investigation.
- Experience using AI-powered development tools and integrating AI capabilities into development workflows.
- Preferred: experience with Redis or Kafka, Terraform and provider development, React, TypeScript, HTML, CSS, Elastic Stack, Grafana, and GraphQL.
