Base Salary
$170k - $225k/yr
Responsibilities
- Improve the accuracy and robustness of AI-driven document extractions by identifying failure modes and implementing fixes.
- Design and maintain evaluation suites to measure improvements and prevent regressions.
- Improve the shared agent harness, including tooling, parallel tool calls, context strategy, and workflow orchestration.
- Design human-review experiences with product and design so users can understand, accept, or reject system suggestions and feed corrections back into the system.
- Monitor developments in AI models, capabilities, and usage patterns and apply relevant advances to production systems.
- Ship production changes frequently and collaborate with customers, subject-matter experts, and company leadership.
Requirements
- Four or more years of software engineering experience at companies with strong engineering practices.
- Experience building and shipping production AI systems rather than conducting primarily research.
- Experience with prompt engineering, context engineering, evaluation design, and making probabilistic systems dependable.
- Strong communication skills and curiosity about trusts, estate planning, and wealth-transfer workflows.
- Experience with or willingness to work with Go, Postgres, Temporal, GraphQL, Honeycomb, Braintrust, and PostHog.
