Responsibilities

  • Design, build, and evaluate AI agents for multi-stage research and analysis workflows.
  • Implement prompt design, tool/function calling, and multi-agent orchestration with an emphasis on reliability, traceability, and output quality.
  • Help deploy AI workloads on managed cloud infrastructure in partnership with IT on identity, security, and cost governance.
  • Integrate structured and unstructured data sources for retrieval, reasoning, and persistent memory.
  • Develop reusable software tools and services that extend the agentic AI platform.
  • Apply AI methods across the development flow and document designs and evaluation criteria for reproducibility.

Requirements

  • Currently pursuing an M.S. or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Strong Python software engineering skills and the ability to build and debug non-trivial systems.
  • Working knowledge of LLMs and agentic AI, including prompt design, tool/function calling, and multi-agent or workflow frameworks such as LangGraph or AutoGen.
  • Familiarity with cloud services, containers, REST APIs, and Git; Azure is preferred, with AWS or GCP acceptable.
  • Good verbal and written communication and problem-solving abilities.
  • Preferred qualifications include experience with cloud AI platforms, managed Kubernetes, graph or document databases, enterprise search, knowledge graphs, retrieval-augmented generation, vector databases, governed services, RBAC, CI/CD, and observability.
  • Interest in memory and AI systems and the datacenter and AI infrastructure landscape.
