Responsibilities
- Elicit requirements and produce technical and operations documentation.
- Collaborate with solution architects and software development leads on application analysis and design.
- Implement code changes according to finalized product specifications.
- Perform unit testing, system testing, code reviews, and other quality assurance activities.
- Support system integration testing and resolve issues reported by the test team.
- Provide support to internal and external parties during testing, acceptance testing, and post-cutover implementation.
- Assist with training material development and conduct presentations.
- Ensure work complies with coding, security, and corporate process standards.
Requirements
- Diploma or bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or equivalent education.
- At least 2–3 years of hands-on experience with Java, J2EE, SQL/PLSQL, and XML.
- Experience with HTML5, CSS, Angular, React, and open-source JavaScript frameworks.
- Experience with RESTful APIs, Spring, Spring Boot, Spring Framework, Spring Security, cloud-based technologies, microservices, and messaging middleware such as Kafka, IBM MQ, or Solace.
- Strong verbal and written communication, analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team with a positive attitude.
- Financial industry or payments systems domain knowledge is advantageous.
