Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and enhance scalable software within microservice architectures.
- Write clean, maintainable code, unit tests, and technical documentation, and participate in code reviews.
- Design, develop, and test REST APIs using relational databases such as PostgreSQL or MySQL.
- Deploy and optimize applications using Kubernetes and Helm while contributing to reliable production environments.
- Integrate AI/ML, generative AI, and large language model technologies into software solutions.
- Monitor application performance, troubleshoot issues, and optimize systems for scalability and reliability.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and contribute to knowledge sharing.
Requirements
- M.Sc. or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Experience in software development and modern software architectures.
- Hands-on experience with Go is valued, or solid programming experience with the ability and motivation to learn Go quickly.
- Experience with C and/or Python is relevant.
- Experience developing and testing REST APIs, working with PostgreSQL or MySQL, and using Git.
- Familiarity with Kubernetes, containerization, and CI/CD is valued.
- Knowledge or experience with AI, machine learning, generative AI, prompt engineering, large language models, or LangChain is advantageous.
- Knowledge of React, JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML/CSS, AWS, GCP, or Azure is a plus.
- Good written and spoken English and a structured, collaborative, problem-solving approach are required.
