Responsibilities
- Architect and lead full-stack development of high-volume, low-latency Java applications for Capital Markets inventory management.
- Migrate large-scale WebLogic monoliths to a microservices ecosystem using Spring Boot, Kubernetes, Kafka, and related technologies.
- Define and enforce standards for coding, testing, performance tuning, and deployment.
- Translate business requirements into system architecture, user stories, and actionable development plans.
- Lead code reviews and guide mid-level developers through complex design challenges.
- Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks and resilience gaps.
- Collaborate with business and technology stakeholders, project managers, quality assurance, and offshore teams.
- Oversee design and implementation reviews to ensure production deployments meet operational readiness standards.
Requirements
- At least 6 years of hands-on experience as a Senior Java Developer delivering end-to-end enterprise solutions and providing technical project leadership.
- At least 8 years of Oracle RDBMS design and development experience, including PL/SQL, stored procedures, triggers, and performance tuning.
- At least 6 years of experience building microservices with Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, Netflix OSS components, Docker, Kubernetes, and Kafka.
- At least 7 years of Java multithreaded programming experience, including concurrency, thread-safe design, and JTA transaction management.
- At least 6 years of ETL development experience with tools such as Talend, Informatica, or Apache Spark.
- At least 6 years of experience with DevOps pipelines and tools including Jenkins, Bamboo, UrbanCode, Maven, and Gradle.
- Hands-on experience with Angular or React.js and full-stack delivery across AWS, GCP, or PCF.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Computer Science, or equivalent experience.
- Experience with Elasticsearch, Logstash, and Kibana is beneficial.
- AWS, Oracle RDBMS, or Data Warehousing certifications are beneficial.
- Capital Markets technology experience, particularly stock record, inventory management, or trading systems, is beneficial.
- Experience migrating Oracle RDBMS workloads to cloud or NoSQL platforms and implementing large-scale real-time solutions is beneficial.
- A master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical discipline is beneficial.
