Responsibilities
- Analyze Microsoft sales ecosystem business processes, workflows, and data flows to identify opportunities for simplification, automation, and agentic experiences.
- Rapidly prototype proofs of concept and iterate on solutions using experimentation-driven engineering.
- Design, build, and ship scalable, production-quality features and intelligent services.
- Integrate systems, data, and signals into cohesive AI-powered workflows across teams.
- Debug and troubleshoot systems while improving reliability and performance using telemetry and diagnostics.
- Build secure, compliant, and responsible AI solutions for production scale.
- Contribute to continuous learning, experimentation, and engineering excellence.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field.
- At least 3 years of professional software engineering experience with hands-on coding in C#, Java, Python, or React.
- Proficiency in AI-native development using agent harnesses, Markdown specifications and ADRs, YAML configurations, multi-step agentic workflows, and rigorous review of agent-generated code and pull requests.
- Strong fundamentals in data structures, algorithms, object-oriented design, and scalable systems.
- Experience building, testing, debugging, and maintaining production-quality software, including use of large language models.
- Strong problem-solving and technical judgment skills, including the ability to scope solutions, debug complex issues, and improve service performance.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
- Preferred qualifications include experience with AI/ML frameworks, LLMs, and Copilot technologies; multiple programming languages and development frameworks; DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, Infrastructure as Code, version control systems such as Git, Claude, GitHub Copilot, security and compliance, Responsible AI, and agile cross-functional work.
