Responsibilities
- Partner with Product Management and stakeholders to understand customer challenges and design viable software solutions.
- Recommend process, technology, and interface improvements that increase team effectiveness and reduce technical debt.
- Assess component capacity requirements and identify technical limitations.
- Contribute to story sizing, backlog grooming, release planning, product design, solution design, and architecture.
- Build, troubleshoot, investigate, monitor, maintain, and support deployed software applications across multiple platforms.
- Write software, automated tests, and unit tests aligned with agreed-upon standards.
- Provide technical guidance and oversight to less experienced software engineers.
- Perform analysis and proofs of concept for new and upgraded feature work.
Requirements
- Requires a bachelor’s or foreign equivalent degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field and six years of experience designing, developing, and implementing software systems and components and major Internet-oriented applications or systems.
- A master’s or foreign equivalent degree with four years of stated experience, or a Ph.D. or foreign equivalent degree with one year of stated experience, may substitute for the bachelor’s degree and six years of experience.
- Requires six years of experience realizing applications from design through implementation.
- Requires six years of experience coding across multiple technology stacks, including frontend HTML, CSS, and JavaScript with Angular or React, and application development with C#.
- Requires six years of experience analyzing, designing, and programming in C#.
- Requires one year of experience writing unit tests.
- Experience may be acquired concurrently.
