Responsibilities
- Design, code, and enhance custom software components across systems and applications.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and deliver scalable software solutions.
- Maintain and improve existing software by identifying and implementing enhancements.
- Debug, test, and optimize Java applications for performance and scalability.
- Document software designs, processes, and code for clarity and maintainability.
- Work independently toward subject matter expertise and contribute solutions to work-related problems.
- Participate in team discussions and support junior team members through knowledge sharing and technical assistance.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience with Java Standard Edition.
- 15 years of full-time education is required.
- Strong understanding of object-oriented programming principles and design patterns.
- Experience debugging, testing, and optimizing Java applications for performance and scalability.
- Familiarity with version control systems and collaborative development workflows.
- Ability to write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following best practices.
- DevOps experience is preferred.
