Software Engineer – Python, SQL, Microservices, Kafka/Rabbit MQ, Azure
Blue YonderResponsibilities
- Develop, test, maintain, and improve scalable cloud-native software and microservices.
- Build and design REST APIs and implement enterprise application features using Python and Django.
- Troubleshoot incidents, triage defects, identify root causes, and improve service reliability and performance.
- Participate in software design, code reviews, backlog planning, retrospectives, and technical roadmap development.
- Translate business requirements into user stories and technical subtasks while collaborating with stakeholders, lead developers, and architects.
- Support operating teams and customer project teams through documentation, feature training, automation, and service improvements.
- Contribute to continuous integration pipeline improvements, prototypes, benchmarks, refactoring, onboarding, mentoring, and hiring activities.
Requirements
- 2 to 5 years of strong hands-on software development experience with large and complex enterprise applications.
- Experience developing enterprise applications with Python and Django.
- Understanding of API lifecycle management and hands-on experience building and designing REST APIs.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, collaboration, and willingness-to-learn skills in an Agile environment.
