Responsibilities
- Design and develop automation, performance, regression, and test-harness solutions that are reliable, reusable, and maintainable.
- Create testing tools and frameworks, test plans, test cases, scripts, expected results, and defect reports.
- Execute and analyze functional, system, regression, exploratory, service, API, UI, database, and performance testing.
- Partner with development teams on requirements, architecture, automation strategy, acceptance criteria, and quality delivery.
- Act as a test lead by planning testing work, assigning tasks, guiding project staff, and reviewing testing deliverables.
- Build efficient testing solutions for web, services/APIs, databases, Salesforce components, and Microsoft Office add-ins.
- Capture quality metrics, perform risk analysis, and provide testing insights and conclusions.
- Participate in project scoping, functional reviews, technical reviews, and cross-team meetings in an Agile environment.
Requirements
- 4–6 years of experience in software testing or development, including testing, coding, debugging, and root-cause analysis.
- Experience testing or automating Salesforce components or add-ons and Microsoft Office add-ins.
- Programming experience in Python, C#, Java, or other languages.
- Experience designing and developing automated tests with tools such as Selenium and Appium across UI, service, and data layers.
- Experience refactoring and extending test automation and performance frameworks and suites.
- Experience with SOAP and REST services, SOA architecture, SQL/PL-SQL, stored procedures, and relational databases.
- Exposure to Git and experience with test data management, automated code coverage mapping, test plans, test cases, exploratory testing, and defect reporting.
- Experience with performance-testing tools such as HP LoadRunner, Performance Center, StormRunner, or JMeter.
- Experience with BDD, Agile, CI, DevOps, rolling deployment or upgrade models, cloud technologies, microservices, containers, and Docker is a plus.
- A bachelor's or higher qualification in Computer Science, Information Systems, or an equivalent field is preferred.
- Strong communication, documentation, presentation, problem-solving, analytical, and technical troubleshooting skills.
