Base Salary
$134k - $186k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design and implement security controls for cloud, platform, and deployment systems.
- Partner with engineering teams to review architecture and identify security risks.
- Build and improve automation for infrastructure security.
- Identify and remediate systemic weaknesses in production environments.
- Support infrastructure vulnerability management and prioritize findings.
- Assess and improve security controls for AI-assisted developer workflows.
- Respond to production security issues and contribute to follow-up improvements.
- Document patterns and participate in design and code reviews.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree and 3+ years of experience in security or infrastructure engineering.
- Experience securing cloud-native infrastructure in AWS or similar environments.
- Familiarity with cloud IAM, Kubernetes/container security, and network security.
- Proficient in coding or automation using Python, Go, Java, or similar languages.
- Experience reviewing system designs and driving actionable security outcomes.
- Knowledge of infrastructure-as-code and CI/CD tooling like Terraform or GitHub Actions.
- Ability to investigate and resolve moderately complex production or security issues.
- Understanding of security considerations for AI-assisted engineering tools.
