Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and enhance business applications to meet business specifications.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to validate user requirements, assess available technologies, and recommend solution options.
- Perform application analysis, design, development, integration, and testing.
- Build technical specifications, validate functional specifications, and develop application documentation.
- Develop conversion and system implementation plans.
- Recommend technical strategies and tactics for assigned project phases and support change readiness initiatives as needed.
Requirements
- Typically 5+ years of work experience.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience from which comparable knowledge and job skills can be obtained.
- Extensive knowledge of application development principles, theories, concepts, techniques, and standards.
- Ability to independently solve complex problems, exercise judgment, and coordinate work across departments.
- Experience with Java-based CMS application frameworks is advantageous.
