Responsibilities
- Understand ML requirements and develop ML workflows.
- Automate ML pipelines for scheduling, monitoring, status notification, and resiliency.
- Collaborate with analysts, data engineers, data scientists, and visualization developers on end-to-end solution delivery.
- Write robust, maintainable code and support reusable package and library development.
- Create and improve documentation for ML workflow development and operations.
- Investigate and resolve production issues.
- Participate in code reviews and provide support and guidance to other engineers.
Requirements
- Minimum 7.5 years of experience.
- Significant experience developing ML pipelines with Python and Python ML ecosystem packages such as pandas and scikit-learn.
- Advanced Python programming experience, including object-oriented programming and application development.
- Significant experience developing ML pipelines in the cloud; GCP is preferred, with similar platforms accepted.
- Strong understanding of CI/CD tools such as GitHub Workflows.
- Strong understanding of orchestration frameworks such as Airflow.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills for working with technical and non-technical colleagues.
- Experience with Agile software development practices such as Kanban and Scrum.
