Base Salary
$200k - $250k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and support high-performance OMS and electronic trading applications.
- Build scalable, low-latency solutions using modern C++.
- Develop and maintain FIX connectivity, market data integrations, and exchange interfaces.
- Implement and support order management, routing, execution, risk controls, and exchange connectivity across the order lifecycle.
- Partner with trading, product, operations, and risk teams to deliver business functionality.
- Drive system performance, reliability, and operational excellence.
- Participate in architecture discussions, design reviews, and code reviews.
- Support production systems and resolve complex issues in a fast-paced trading environment.
- Mentor developers, lead technical initiatives, and promote AI-assisted engineering practices and automation.
Requirements
- At least 8 years of software engineering experience delivering electronic trading and front-office trading platforms.
- Expert knowledge of modern C++, with C++17/20 preferred.
- Strong Linux development experience and deep understanding of multithreading, concurrency, and distributed systems.
- Strong knowledge of OMS, FIX Protocol, market data, smart order routing, execution workflows, and pre-trade risk controls.
- Equities electronic trading experience is preferred.
- Experience with EMS, DMA, or algorithmic trading platforms is preferred.
- Experience with Kafka, Aeron, Redis, KDB+, and Python is preferred.
- Experience optimizing low-latency and high-throughput systems is preferred.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder-management abilities.
- Prior experience mentoring developers, leading technical initiatives, and driving AI-assisted development practices is preferred.
