Base Salary
$123k - $160k/yr
Responsibilities
- Develop reliable software solutions used from factory floors through mission control.
- Create and evolve applications supporting spacecraft design, manufacturing, and operations.
- Partner with engineers, business partners, leaders, and customers to understand needs, improve usability, and drive adoption.
- Build prototypes, validate technical constraints, and develop successful prototypes into product features.
- Own full-lifecycle feature development and contribute to implementation, bug fixes, and software engineering practices.
- Evaluate technical tradeoffs, work with minimal oversight, and mentor team members.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, mathematics, or a STEM discipline, or 1–3+ years of professional software engineering experience.
- At least 1 year of experience with full-stack development, platform engineering, or API development.
- At least 1 year of experience with AWS, Git, Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or GitLab CI/CD.
- Experience with a statically typed programming language such as C#.NET, Go, or Java.
- At least 1 year of experience with structured databases such as PostgreSQL, SQL Server, or Snowflake and unstructured databases such as NoSQL, Amazon DynamoDB, or MongoDB.
- Experience with REST APIs or gRPC, binary management platforms, infrastructure orchestration and management tools, OAuth 2.0, and OIDC.
- Nice-to-have experience with Next.js, React, Angular, TypeScript, Cucumber, Cypress, scalable high-performance systems, Make, Gradle, npm, or pip.
- Must be a U.S. person under ITAR or otherwise eligible for a federally issued export control license.
