Responsibilities
- Lead the design and implementation of cloud ingestion and migration platforms.
- Develop robust, scalable ETL pipelines for data processing and transformation.
- Design, deploy, and maintain cloud architectures using AWS and GCP.
- Optimize data storage, retrieval, and analytics solutions using Snowflake, BigQuery, and Databricks.
- Implement reliable real-time and batch data ingestion solutions.
- Design secure, cost-optimized cloud solutions and PHI/PII tokenization processes.
- Work with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical designs.
- Communicate progress and technical challenges to stakeholders and lead collaboratively.
Requirements
- B.Tech or MCA degree with a computer science background, or equivalent experience.
- At least 3 years of hands-on data engineering experience; the technical expertise section specifies 4 or more years.
- Proficiency in AWS and Python for building data pipelines.
- Strong experience building ETL pipelines and workflows.
- Deep knowledge of AWS and GCP cloud platforms.
- Expertise in Snowflake for data storage, querying, and analytics.
- Knowledge of Databricks, including Lakehouse Architecture, Delta Lake, Unity Catalog, Workflows, and performance optimization.
- Strong proficiency in Python, PySpark, Spark SQL, and distributed data processing.
- Experience designing and executing large-scale cloud migration projects.
- Hands-on experience with industry-standard Cloud Migration Framework and Architecture.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, written communication, verbal communication, and collaboration skills.
