Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Build and ship full-stack applications across frontend, backend, API, and data layers from problem scoping through production iteration.
- Develop software using Next.js, React, TypeScript, Node.js, Python, GraphQL, and Neo4j.
- Use AI-assisted development tools to accelerate design and implementation while validating generated output and maintaining engineering quality.
- Contribute to architecture decisions, design documents, technical specifications, testing, observability, and version-control workflows.
- Flex across frontend, backend, data engineering, and DevOps work while collaborating with distributed teammates, product managers, and stakeholders.
- Containerize and deploy applications with Docker and Kubernetes/EKS, troubleshoot pods and clusters, and investigate networking, logs, IAM policies, and cloud resources.
- Manage reliable deployment pipelines with Argo CD and Argo Workflows.
- Mentor junior engineers, lead design reviews, and raise the technical capabilities of the team.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
- At least 5 years of professional software engineering experience building and shipping production applications across frontend and backend technologies.
- Strong computer science fundamentals, including data structures, algorithms, systems design, networking, and understanding of software beneath framework abstractions.
- Experience with React or Next.js and at least one backend language such as Python, Node.js, Go, or Java.
- Hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines, AWS or equivalent cloud-native deployment, and production troubleshooting.
- Experience with relational, document, or graph database paradigms and scalable data modeling.
- At least 1 year of regular hands-on use of AI-assisted development tools such as Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, or Cursor.
- Preferred qualifications include a master’s degree; 5–8+ years of experience owning complete systems; Neo4j and GraphQL experience; developer platform or internal tooling experience; agentic AI, LLM integration, MCP, or multi-agent orchestration familiarity; observability tooling experience; and biopharma or healthcare background.
- Ability to mentor engineers, lead design reviews, communicate technical tradeoffs clearly, and make decisions in ambiguous environments.
