Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain Java backend applications and microservices.
- Deliver new features and enhance existing systems.
- Deploy software to production and ensure reliability, performance, security, and scalability.
- Collaborate with engineers, analysts, designers, and Product Managers.
- Participate in code reviews and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.
- Create and maintain technical documentation.
- Share knowledge and support team development.
Requirements
- Around 5 years of commercial software development experience.
- Strong Java development experience.
- Hands-on experience with microservices architecture.
- Practical knowledge of Apache Kafka.
- Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
- Experience working with GCP or an equivalent cloud platform.
- Knowledge of Git, Maven or Gradle, Jira, Confluence, and CI/CD practices.
- Ability to deliver high-quality solutions independently with an ownership mindset.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- English proficiency at B2/C1 level or higher.
- Strong quality focus, collaboration and communication skills, analytical thinking, and problem-solving ability.
