Base Salary
$120k - $261k/yr
Responsibilities
- Own an authentication or authorization feature area end to end, including solution design, development, and deployment.
- Design, implement, debug, and test complex distributed services at large scale.
- Collaborate closely with product managers, architects, security engineers, support engineers, and other cross-functional contributors.
- Participate in the on-call rotation.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related technical field and 4+ years of technical engineering experience coding in languages including C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python, or equivalent experience.
- U.S. citizenship and an active Secret Clearance are required.
- Ability to pass Microsoft Cloud background checks and applicable customer or government security screenings.
- Preferred: master's degree and 6+ years of experience, or bachelor's degree and 8+ years of experience, or equivalent experience.
- Preferred: 3+ years building commercial-grade software, including experience with large-scale, highly available services.
- Preferred: experience designing, implementing, debugging, and testing complex distributed services; working with distributed systems, cloud technologies, and authentication protocols; and driving complex multi-year infrastructure projects.
- Preferred: experience working in regulated or government cloud environments and effective cross-disciplinary communication skills.
Benefits
- The typical U.S. base pay range is USD $119,800-$234,700 per year; specific ranges apply in the San Francisco Bay Area and New York City metropolitan area.
